Myrtle Beach Police seek 2 suspects in 2 robbery, shooting incidents Monday night


MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Police are looking for two suspects wanted in connection with two robbery and shooting incidents in Myrtle Beach Monday night. One victim was shot and injured, and another victim was shot at but not injured, according to police.

The first victim was shot at while trying to escape two suspects who approached him in the area of 6th Ave. N. and Flagg St. Monday night at about 11:15 p.m., according to a press release from Myrtle Beach Police Department. One of the suspects pulled out a gun and shot at the victim after demanding items, the release states. The victim was not injured in the incident.

In another incident at 33rd Avenue North and Oak Street, officers found a victim in the roadway, according to the news release. the victim was approached by two suspects, in what officers believe was an attempt to rob the victim. During the incident, the victim was shot, and was then taken to the hospital for treatment.

The evidence suggests the suspects were the same in both incidents, the release states. They are described by police as black males. The first suspect was last seen wearing a navy blue jacket over a white shirt, blue jeans, and dark shoes. The second suspect was last seen wearing all dark clothing, except for white shoes. In both incidents, it is believed the suspects were traveling in a silver Hyundai Elantra.
