PICKENS, S.C. (AP) – A judge has denied bail for a 66-year-old man arrested on child sex charges.
News outlets report that Tony Calhoun Fulmer is accused of engaging in sexual intercourse with a victim under 16 years old but more than 10 years old between September 2016 and January 2017.
Pickens County Chief Deputy Creed W. Hashe says Fulmer was arrested Sunday morning.
Arrest warrants say Fulmer photographed and created a digital file containing photos of a child having sex with him.
Hashe says the crimes likely occurred at Fulmer’s home and the suspect and victim are acquainted, but do not live together.
Fulmer is being held at the Pickens County Detention Facility. It’s unclear if he has a lawyer.
