Deputies: Victim hospitalized, witnesses uncooperative after shooting on South Pine Street

SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) –

Deputies responded to reports of a shooting on South Pine Street in Spartanburg.

The call initially came in around 4:30 p.m. Friday.

Deputies from the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office were working the incident.

Deputies said around 11:12 p.m. that investigators had been unable to interview the victim due to the medical treatment he was receiving for his injuries. They said other parties that were on scene during the shooting haven’t been cooperative with investigators.
