Woman arrested in South Carolina shooting that killed 3

WALTERBORO, S.C. (AP) – A woman has been arrested and charged in a shooting in South Carolina that killed two adults and a child earlier this month.

Colleton County Sheriff’s Lt. Tyger Benton said in a statement that 19-year-old La Shay Jaire Aiken of Walterboro was arrested by Aiken County sheriff’s deputies Thursday.

Benton says Aiken is charged with three counts of accessory after the fact to murder and attempted armed robbery and first-degree burglary in the May 16 shooting in Ruffin.

Deputies responding to a shooting found 46-year-old Phillip Miller, 52-year-old Lori Miller and their 13-year-old son Vincent Miller dead. The couple’s 9-year-old granddaughter had been shot in the leg and survived.

Nineteen-year-old Kenneth Chisholm was arrested May 18 and charged with murder.

It was not known if Aiken has an attorney.
