Greenville County deputies said are investigating after a driver was shot on I-385 Wednesday morning.
Deputies said the shooting happened around 4:30 a.m. on I-385 North near Exit 31.
The driver, an adult male, was shot at least once. Dispatchers said the man had been shot in the leg.
Deputies said the victim told them the gun was fired from a white Toyota Corolla that was also traveling on the interstate.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
“The investigation is still ongoing as investigators are trying to learn further information, including the motive behind the shooting,” Sgt. Ryan Flood said. “If anyone has information regarding this incident, investigators ask that they call Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 23-CRIME.”
