Two people were arrested Saturday when two pistols, as well as cocaine and heroin, were found inside their vehicle.

Lasha Kimblyn Ford approached a safety checkpoint at Highway 45 and Lindhaven Drive in the Pineville area Saturday nervous and shaking, according to deputies.
