Each day, many of us are in contact with Heroes…whether it’s veterans, first responders, law enforcement, healthcare workers, teachers, farmers and people who do extraordinary things in the community. Most of these people stay under the radar but we CAN HONOR and recognize them and others that perform heroic deeds without any expectation. “Haley in the Morning” who is heard on 105.3 THE CAT in Orangeburg would like to recognize these heroes by allowing friends and family members of these people to nominate a hero for our “Hometown Heroes” feature! From May 1st to May 30th we will be accepting nominations and announcing one (1) winner per week to be honored. And on May 30th we will be announcing the Grand Prize winner!

Here's How You Do It:

We want to invite all listeners to send an email to: [email protected] and tell us who your hero is; and why he or she should be the Hometown Hero of Orangeburg in 2024!

We can’t wait to hear from you, so send that email now! Although we could only have 1 Grand Prize winner, we want to say “Thank you” to everyone who has submitted Nominations, and to all the Heroes who do such great work to help our Community!
