Afternoons with Dave Anthony

Dave Anthony afternoons 3pm to 7pm on the Cat. I’m originally from Pittsburgh, PA. I’ve been on the air since 1978 in Pittsburgh, Houston Texas, Detroit, Raleigh, Baltimore, and back to Pittsburgh for the past 14 and a half years.  I’ve been a Program Director for many years now programming oldies, adult contemporary, but really most of my career I’ve done country.  I think the country format has the closest relationship with the fans and artists. Garth Brooks is one of my favorite artists. We’ve been with him since the class of ’89.  It’s been a fun ride so far having the chance to meet some of the biggest stars in country music.  I’m excited to join Cat Country on air every afternoon and as the Operations Manager.  The people are really nice in the Carolina’s, and I look forward to meeting everyone.  Thank you for making me feel so welcome in our new home.  Join me weekday afternoons 3 to 7 on the Cat.
